HOW DO I DECIDE WHAT TO READ
WHAT TO LOOK OVER
WHAT TO ASSESS
WHAT TO STUDY
I START WITH PHILIPPIANS 4. V. 6 - 9
V.6. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
V.7. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
V.8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
V.9. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Truly I like this passage.
It gives us seven steps to the realization of FAITH in my EXPERIENCE.
2 Timothy 2.15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of God.
Romans 11.33 - 36
V.33. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! V. 34. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counselor? V.35. Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed to him again? V.36. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be the glory for ever.
Romans 12.1,2
I beseech you, therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Will Never Contradict Itself.
The books that I read,
that I study,
that I mull over,
can be a source of learning
and help to me,
if I keep in mind
that the ultimate goal
is
to honor
God
by what I do
who I am
what I allow myself to acquire.

IS
ROOTED

THE
BIBLE.
As I think, concepts of ideas and pictures
of my ideals, my values, and my life
will take shape.
God has provided the Holy Spirit to the Believer
through our dear Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 16.7
Jesus is speaking to the Disciples, and tells them
"It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
This then, is what my premise is.
My life is to keep C L I M B I N G H I G H E R
with the knowledge that God is with me,
showing me,
teaching me,
helping me.
As I look to B O O K S and anything else that would help me learn and understand, He will show me what is
GOOD
BETTER
AND
BEST.

choices to make: learning to keep the good and discard that which is not helpful nor wanted.
I will come
to a perspective
of seeing
that I did not have before.
THE GOOD
IS THE OUTCOME OF THE TRUE.
THIS IS THE SECOND STEP
OF PHILIPPIANS 4.8
WHATSOEVER IS HONEST.
I WILL CHOOSE
BY
USING SCRIPTURAL STANDARDS
MY DESIRES AND NEEDS
LOOK AROUND ME
LOOK ABOUT ME
LOOK ABOVE ME
LOOK WITHIN ME
and
LOOK UP TO GOD.
How is my Light to shine?
I am to take the facts of my life
and weave them together
as I study and learn
into ways of
serving God in my life.
WHATEVER IS WORTH
MY TIME
IS
WORTH
CHERISHING
CONSIDERING
THE
ENDURABLE
RICHES
THAT
NEVER
PERISH.

thought about setting goals in my life.
1. OBSERVE THINGS.
2. GATHER THE FACTS.
3. ITEMIZE THE FACTS.
4. SORT THE FACTS.
5. DESCRIBE THE FACTS.
6. FIND LINKS, IF ANY, TO THE FACTS.
7. COME TO MY CONCLUSIONS.
8. ANALYZE THE FACTS AND CONCLUSIONS.
9. RE-EXAMINE THE SAME.
10. MAKE A THESIS - AN OVERRULING PRINCIPLE FROM THE FACTS.
IN EACH PRINCIPLE OF MY LIFE
I MUST BASE IT UPON SCRIPTURE
AND
UPON THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD.
IN EACH PRINCIPLE OF MY LIFE,
I WILL TAKE
EVERY STEP
WITH CHRIST
IN THE PRE-EMINENCE.
TO DO THIS

THE FALSE FROM THE TRUE
MYTHS AND FALSE ASSUMPTIONS

The false would say

My husband took me on one occasion for a special
Dinner to celebrate an Anniversary.
The view was marvelous - it turned a complete circle while we were feasting on a meal there.
